Phillip Goddard studied art at The Slade School of Fine Art and Chelsea School of Art and has been a favourite of The White Room since we opened.
In his work "The Constructed Landscape", Goddard utilises found objects, paint and other materials to visualise images of a landscape or coastal scene. The finished work is, in many ways, closer to a memory of a landscape than a photograph enabling his art to capture the essence and feel of a scene.
Alongside Goddard's work we will also feature examples of other land and seascapes by Tim Southall, Julian Opie, Sir Frank Short, James Vinciguerra and a new artist to the gallery, Adrian Bradbury.
